Who are you?

I’m Nikkie – a Copywriter & Digital Marketer in Perth.

I work with small businesses and creative agencies to help write content that help brands grow online through words that resonate, build meaningful connections and encourage action.

What are your qualifications?

I hold a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, majoring in Marketing & Finance from Deakin University. I’m also continually upskilling in the digital space through short courses and masterclasses.

Most recently I’ve joined The Clever Copywriting School to continue upskilling and stay up to date with all the latest trends and exciting changes to the ever-evolving world of Copywriting and Digital Marketing.

What's your experience?

I’m a Digital Marketer by profession with Copywriting being a major part of my work through content creation in the digital space, as well as Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategy.

My background includes working in various Marketing departments for brands like Westfield, Casey Central Shopping Centre, Vicinity Centres, TGI Fridays, Melsteel & more. If you want to know more about my background, click here.

I’m based in sunny Perth, Western Australia but work with brands from all over the world – thanks to the power of the internet!

I'm in Perth, can we meet in person?

As a Digital Marketer & classic Millennial – my work lives in the digital space, so you can get all your marketing material in the comfort of your home or office – wherever you may be in the world.

We work together completely online, utilising emails, Google Docs, phone calls and Zoom meetings to manage your project from start to finish.

Although, it’s always great to catch up in-person and who could say no to coffee?

What type of businesses do you work with?

I’ve worked with many businesses in various industries including retail, health and beauty, hospitality, steel manufacturing, trades, agriculture and much more.

Before I begin writing for any project, I undergo extensive research in order to understand everything there is to know about your business, it’s products/services, your competitors and your industry. This way, the content I produce is informative and valuable to the target audience (aka, I try everything in my power to become a makeshift expert in your field).

I do this in-depth research because I’m strongly against any “fluff” or sales jargon nonsense just to fill a page. Humans by nature want to connect with meaningful messaging and stories, so it makes sense that only relevant, compelling content that evokes an action should represent your business – and with that comes expert knowledge from thorough research.

I need content written, but can you help with the strategy?

Absolutely! I’m a Digital Marketer by profession with years of experience in Search Engine Optimisation, Social Media Marketing and Email Marketing.

If you need assistance with the direction of your content, I can help by formulating a strategy that aligns with your brand’s goals.

What do you charge?

As every business is different, I quote per project, not by the hour or by word count. This way, we’re both fully across the deliverables and cost before we begin the project – so you can be reassured that there won’t be any pesky surprise costs on your final invoice!

I offer ballpark figures on each service page to give you an idea of the expected costs involved, however, it’s best to get a tailored quote for your specific requirements. Get in touch with me for a quote.

How soon can I expect my first draft?

When quoting your project, I’ll provide you with a delivery date of when you can expect your first draft so you can plan accordingly.

I’m big on schedule (I seriously don’t go anywhere without my planner) and I always allow time for unforeseen circumstances. You can rest easy knowing I’m committed to our agreed deadline.

I usually have the first draft ready between 7 – 14 days depending on the size of the project. If you have an urgent deadline, please let me know as I’ll try to accommodate for you –  I may need to charge an additional 25% rush fee if it’s required within 72 hours or less.

What's your writing style?

As a Copywriter who writes for a variety of businesses, it’s crucial that I’m flexible in my writing style. I’m a versatile writer, who is capable of adapting to your preferred tone of voice, I particularly offer these writing styles:

Can you do a sample piece for me?

Although I would love to offer sample pieces, the amount of research and writing involved quickly adds up. If you’d like to see if we’d be a good fit, we could perhaps start with a small project like a blog or social media post and go from there.

Do you offer a discount for repeat clients?

Yes! I offer a 10% discount for any ongoing or long-term copywriting projects. 

Will I need to pay a deposit?

A 50% deposit upfront is needed to get the ball rolling, then a final invoice is issued after project completion for the remaining payment.

What payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer or Stripe

Do you write legal documents?

Unfortunately I don’t write legal documents, but if you need a privacy policy or terms and conditions, I can help point you in the right direction!
